Today I start my voyage to Rwanda, where I'll be a member of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee's Jewish Service Corps at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village. I'm leaving my beloved family and friends in CA for a 3-day orientation in New York. On Wednesday, I'll depart with my colleagues for Rwanda to start my yearlong post as the village's Acquisitions Coordinator!
